About

Since 2007, I have led policy and program initiatives that push boundaries and drive change with public agencies, mission-driven nonprofits, and companies across a wide range of sectors.

My focus is on developing large-scale climate solutions. I bring expertise and enthusiasm to:

  1. Design public-facing commitments to maximize well-being and climate impact, especially through transportation choices and compact land use.
  2. Create and implement strategies for change that combine public policy, technology, operations, and behavior adoption.
  3. Manage the practices, procedures, and politics of local government to enable national-scale transitions.

I have held leadership roles at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) and CALSTART. In 2021, I launched Moreworks to offer insights and support to changemakers.

In 2023, I was elected to the Boulder, Colorado City Council on a platform of climate action and well-being, and I am serving a term that goes through 2026

Over the years, I have worked to drive systems change in numerous climate domains, including transportation and land use, energy systems, industrial systems, natural solutions, short-lived climate pollutants, adaptation, climate finance, economic and political inclusion, technology adoption, and corporate sustainability.

Throughout my career, I have built a track record of delivering results—through member services, project-based consulting, leading cross-departmental and multi-organization collaborations, and advancing new ideas.

I earned an MBA from Thunderbird, where I worked with Greg Unruh, the originator of the theory of carbon lock-in, and a BS in Finance from Oregon State University. I have also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer, trained as a Climate Reality Fellow, and achieved certification as an Energy Manager.

Here are some things I’ve contributed to.
